What services does Peak Rehabilitation Physical Therapy Inc provide?
The clinic offers outpatient physical therapy for orthopedic injuries, post-operative recovery, sports rehabilitation, balance and vestibular care, and chronic pain management. Treatments combine manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional retraining tailored to each patient.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your first appointment includes a comprehensive initial evaluation to assess movement, strength, and pain, followed by a discussion of goals and recommended interventions. Our clinic in Jefferson, GA may provide a short treatment or home exercise plan at the end of the visit.
Do I need a physician referral to start therapy?
Referral requirements vary by insurance and medical condition; many patients can self-refer while others may need a physician order. Contact the clinic or your insurer to confirm what applies to your situation.
Do you accept insurance and what are payment options?
Most clinics accept a range of insurance plans, but accepted carriers and coverage levels differ, so it's best to verify benefits ahead of time. The office typically accepts copays, credit/debit cards, and may offer self-pay rates for uninsured services.
How long will it take to see progress?
Improvement depends on the condition, severity, and consistency with the plan, with many patients noticing changes in a few weeks and fuller recovery over months. Progress is tracked against a customized treatment plan and adjusted as needed.
Can you help athletes return to sport?
Yes, therapists design sport-specific rehabilitation and return-to-play protocols focusing on strength, mobility, and movement mechanics. The approach balances performance goals with injury prevention to support a safe return.

Peak Rehabilitation has been a wonderful experience for my recovery. I injured my knee and had several steps of physical therapy to go through; 1st round was so as not to lose muscle tone and strength before the results of my MRI - which Jeff and his team of assistants worked very gentle with my knee so as not to put pressure or further damage to it but to keep stability and flexibility to it. I am on second round now after MRI but before surgery to gain strength and keep endurance of muscle tone and once again stability. I have worked with all of the crew at Peak, they are educational and instruct the exercises well. They move quickly but not rushing to get you back to your day and because they also have more patients that will need their assistance. They're full of knowledge of their profession, encouragable and it has been a fun atmosphere each visit. I look forward to the rehabilitation after my surgery with them as well! Thanks guys & gals!
