Our dog grooming Driffield services are designed to keep your dog healthy, comfortable and looking their best, including de-shedding treatments, de-matting and face trims. Wagtails of The Wolds uses gentle techniques and quality products that reduce shedding and improve coat condition, which can help minimise household hair and skin issues. Regular grooming appointments also allow us to spot early signs of skin problems or parasites.
Regular dog teeth cleaning is an important part of overall pet health, and at Wagtails of The Wolds we offer tooth brushing and dental care advice to help prevent plaque and gum disease. Our groomers educate owners on at-home brushing techniques and recommend appropriate products so daily care becomes simple and effective. Maintaining oral hygiene through regular cleaning reduces the risk of dental pain and systemic health problems as your dog ages.
For ultrasonic teeth cleaning, Wagtails of The Wolds can advise on the procedure and arrange referrals to qualified veterinary dental professionals if in-house treatment isn't suitable. Ultrasonic teeth cleaning can remove stubborn tartar and improve gum health more effectively than brushing alone, and we work with vets to ensure your pet receives safe, comprehensive dental care. Our team supports follow-up care and at-home maintenance plans to prolong the benefits of professional cleaning.

What a great experience from start to finish! I’d never been to a groomers before and had no idea of what to expect - everything was explained really well on the phone when I called to book. Lots of assurances that they would go at my dogs pace, a 2 year old GSD who had also never been to the groomers before. Louisa was so friendly and immediately made me feel at ease when dropping Nala off, again explained everything really well. I really didn’t know how Nala would be throughout the groom and how easy she would make it but turns out she loved it and had a great time, even making a friend while there. A very happy girl was collected looking and smelling beautiful. She’s booked back in for a few months time and I’d highly recommend Wagtails to anyone!

This is the first time we visited this grooming place with our seven month old puppy and we are really happy with the results. Our first meeting was very thorough. We went through everything we wanted for our puppy and Louisa made us feel reassured, took her time explaining stuff in details and communicated with us very well. Our puppy came out looking extra cute with a bow - we are very pleased! 🤗 Before and after pics included ❤️

My bestest ever friend Barney a 6 year old MaltiPoo was due to have a groom, Wagtails of the wolds was recommended. We went yesterday 02/04/2026, i was so apprehensive for him i had no idea what to expect, Louisa met us, very friendly, Barney was very much at ease with her, Louisa went through every step of the whole process with me, which i found Professional, friendly, caring i had no problem in leaving Barney with Louisa. I got the call to go and collect him, when i saw him he looked amazing, I could'nt have been any happier, he looked absoutly beautiful. The little blue bow tie Louisa put on him was a lovely touch. This was Barneys first appointment, it certainly will not be the last, Barneys next appointment was booked before we left. Wagtails of the Wolds is a very professional, caring, award winning buisness, i will be highly recommending them to all friend and family. Thank you so much. Alan & Barney.
